You’ve basically been playing the tutorial level for 4 years and have yet to even start the actual game. You should consider doing Anki and Core 6k ioou maybe see if you can increase your speed a little bit. You might miss a day now and then. Make sure you reflect on this part and give a good effort to understand before looking at the translation and you’ll find chuukyuh you are capable of understanding most sentences on your own. But I think that is the problem with those Japanese schools.
